Going all-inclusive means holidaymakers avoid extra costs, which is particularly appealing in the current economic climate.
Booking early in the year also means you can make better savings, as cash-strapped travel companies are keen to get some sales in so are offering great deals.
Holidays are currently banned for the whole of England until mid-February at the earliest, under a tough new coronavirus lockdown.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t buy your summer break – the head of the vaccine task force Kate Bingham said by summer 2021, Brits should be able to head off on a well-deserved holiday.
Ms Bingham had told Radio 4: “My gut feel is that we will all be going on summer holidays.
“It is likely that those people most at risk will be vaccinated through to April, and then the [Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation] and the Department for Health will then consider how to broaden out the vaccinations to other adults.”
